This guidance create to how to create Custom fields are not displayed in the WLF alerts 


Symptom

If you want to get the additional information in WLF  you need follow step in below.


Resolution

Need to configuration the AML_WLF_appConfig.xml, MS_texts.xml,  CF_texts.xml


HOW TO CONFIGURATION AML_WLF_appConfig.xml

  1. Go to AML_WLF_appConfig.xml in the  WLF Instance Folder
  2. Inside the AML_WLF_appConfig.xml file under the <listEntryHitsCustomFieldsConfiguration> entry uncomment the relevant filed (Custom field 17) and setentryListViewDisplayOrder="1". Save and close the file.
  3. After config file AML_WLF_app_Config.xml Connect to your instance in your AIS Modeler. From here run the job AML_EWLF_loadConfigurations located in the Executables package with the paramerter Load_List_Entries_Custom_Fields set to True. Wait until its execution gets completed.


HOW TO CONFIGURATION MS_texts.xml,  CF_texts.xml

  1. Go to RCM/ACTONE Designer and Connect to your instance.
  2.   Click on the icon ‘Show ActOne Explorer
  3. Go inside app_gui_items->AML_EWLF->x.x.x.x (with x being your WLF version) -> xml
  4. Select CF_texts.xml and download it to suitable location folder.
  5. Open the downloaded file and look for the entry <customFields>Custom Fields</customFields>. Below this entry there will be 18 custom fields commented. Uncomment only the <cs_17>  and you can change the caption. Save and close the file.

  6. After the xml file is finished. Go to RCM/ActOne Designer once again and upload the modified   file. Clik on Zip mode to change to File mode.
  7. Upload the edited file and click yes when asked if you want to replace the existing file (before upload and replace existing file, please backup previously the file xml)
  8. Inside the RCM designer -> VFS -> app_gui_items -> AML_EWLF-> x.x.x.x-> xml download the files MS_defaultTexts.xml, MS_texts.xml and CF_defaultTexts.xml (see figure point 3 on HOW TO CONFIGURATION MS_texts.xml,  CF_texts.xml)
  9. Open the downloaded file, and you can change the caption "Custom Field #17" in the MS_texts.xml.

  10. Uncomment in all of them cs_1 entry and reupload the files again.
  11. And try generate alert list in the RCM/ActOne
